Section 24
Insurance business shall not be conducted or carried out without obtaining a certificate
(1) Without obtaining a license in accordance with this Act, no one shall directly or indirectly engage in any transaction, business, profit or business related to insurance business, whether by using any words such as insurance, reinsurance, insurance fund.
(2) In contravention of sub-section (1), no person shall use the words insurance, reinsurance, insurance fund in the name of his company, firm or organization for any other purpose, dealing, business, trade or industry related to insurance business.
(3) No person shall transact or engage in insurance business with any company, firm or organization other than an insurer licensed in accordance with this Act.
